Intro to Rosemaling

Description

Learn the basics of rosemaling – a traditional Norwegian folk-art originating from the rural, working-class people of Norway in the 1700s. Use basic brush strokes to create beautiful flower patterns, great for handmade gifts and cards. Led by COMPAS Teaching Artist Katrina Knutson. Materials provided. This program takes place at St. Bonifacius City Hall. Collaborator: COMPAS. This program is funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
