Join the community for Fanfare for the Commons' annual presentation of 'An Evening with the Minnesota Orchestra' at the Excelsior Commons Pavilion. This beloved summer tradition brings more than 70 Minnesota Orchestra musicians to Excelsior for a free outdoor concert along the shores of Lake Minnetonka.
Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and a picnic and enjoy an evening of world-class music in a beautiful lakeside setting. Activities begin at 6:00 PM, with the Minnesota Orchestra performance starting at 8:00 PM.
The 2026 Symphony for the Cities program, conducted by Norman Huynh, features a variety of audience favorites, including selections by Leonard Bernstein, Aaron Copland, John Williams, Antonín Dvořák, and more.
